FAQ

Short answers to common questions. For the full walkthroughs, follow the links.

How do I log in?

With a magic link — there's no password. Enter your email at the portal and we send you a one-time sign-in link. See Signing up → Logging back in.

How does Beta Briefing decide what to include?

You set the lens — your topics and the focus you describe. Overnight, research agents read the open web on those topics, and an editorial AI reads everything, removes duplicates and stale re-treads, and keeps what's genuinely new and worth your time. The principle is simple: you control the lens, and we make the lens visible. See Getting started.

What are the subscription tiers?

Tiers differ in depth and editorial quality — higher tiers search more broadly and produce more thorough write-ups. Tiers are assigned for you rather than purchased through the site, so there's no checkout or upgrade button to find. If you'd like a different tier, send a note from the Requests page.

Can I change how deep or focused my briefing is?

Yes — use Smart Edit and say it in plain language ("go deeper," "make it shorter," "add a section on X," "drop Y"). Beta Briefing supports several depths and picks the right one from your description. See Your settings → Changing depth or focus.

How do I get my briefing in Telegram?

Link your Telegram account from Settings; once connected, you'll get a notification when each new briefing is ready. See Your settings → Telegram notifications.

Can I get a weekly summary instead of (or alongside) daily?

Yes. The Delivery settings have independent daily and weekly switches — run either, both, or pause entirely. See Your settings → Delivery.

Can I listen instead of read?

Every briefing is narrated, and you can subscribe to it as a podcast in most apps. See Audio & podcasts.

How is my data handled?

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, and the Terms of Use for the terms of the service.

Something looks wrong — how do I tell you?

Use the Requests page to send a free-form note (you can even record a short audio message). It goes straight to the team.
