Audio & podcasts
Every briefing is narrated, so you can listen instead of read — on a walk, a commute, or while the coffee brews.
Listening
There are two easy ways to listen:
- On your briefing page — open any edition on the web and press play on the audio player at the top.
- In your email — the audio rides along as an attachment, so you can play it right in your mail app. If you have an account, the audio block also links to the full edition in your dashboard; otherwise it links to your public page when your briefing has one.
Subscribe as a podcast
Beta Briefing publishes a real podcast feed, so your daily audio can show up automatically in the podcast app you already use.
Find your feed URL
In your dashboard, open Settings and find the Podcast & RSS section. It holds your Podcast feed URL, in this form:
https://betabriefing.ai/feeds/<your-channel>/<token>/podcast.xml
The <token> is a private, unguessable key unique to your briefing, so use the Copy button
rather than typing it out. Treat the whole URL like a password — anyone you share
it with can subscribe to your feed. If it ever leaks, ask us to rotate it: that issues a fresh
URL and disconnects the old one.
Add it to your app
Most podcast apps let you add a show by URL ("add by URL," "add a feed," or similar). Paste your feed URL and your briefings will arrive in your queue like any other show. This works with Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Castro, AntennaPod, and other standard podcast apps — and the Listen as a podcast box at the foot of any edition in your dashboard spells out the steps app by app.
A note on Spotify
Spotify isn't supported yet — it doesn't accept arbitrary podcast feed URLs the way other apps do. Use one of the apps above in the meantime.
